Common furniture removal problems

The problem.
How we solve it.

The situations we hear about most, and exactly how our crew handles each one.

01

A couch that won’t fit through the door

The problem

Large couches, bed frames and cabinets have to come down stairs, through narrow hallways and around everything else in the house.

How we solve it

Our crew carries it out from any accessible room and does basic disassembly when it’s needed to get a piece out safely.

02

No truck big enough

The problem

A sectional or dresser won’t fit in most personal vehicles, and many regular garbage services won’t collect it.

How we solve it

We bring the truck and the crew, load everything and handle the disposal. You don’t book a trailer or make a dump run.

03

Furniture left behind by tenants

The problem

Old couches and bed frames left in a rental delay repairs, cleaning and the next move-in.

How we solve it

We clear the unit for landlords and property managers, and can add mattresses, appliances and garbage to the same visit.

04

An office move or closure

The problem

Desks, cubicles, filing cabinets and boardroom tables have to go without stopping the business.

How we solve it

We can complete larger office furniture removals in phases to keep disruption to staff and operations low.

05

A whole house to clear

The problem

After a move, downsizing or an estate, every room is full and it’s hard to know where to start.

How we solve it

You mark what stays. We remove the approved furniture and household contents, professionally and without judgment.

06

Furniture with pests or damage

The problem

Pieces exposed to bed bugs, mould, flooding or smoke can’t be handled like ordinary furniture.

How we solve it

Tell us before we arrive. We take extra safety precautions, contain the items and arrange the right disposal.

Good questions

Still unsure? Call or text 604-725-1092.

Do you offer Furniture removal in District of Kent?

Yes. District of Kent is part of our service area, including Harrison Mills, Harrison Highlands, Rockwell Drive, Hopyard Mountain and Striker’s Corner. Text a photo to 604-725-1092 for a price range.

How much does furniture removal cost?

Pricing depends on the number and size of the items, the labour, access and disposal fees. Text us photos for a price range, and we confirm a firm price on site before we start.

Do I need to move the furniture outside?

No. Our crew removes furniture from accessible areas inside your home, apartment or business. Tell us about stairs, elevators or difficult access in advance.

Can you remove just one couch?

Yes. Single-item couch and furniture pickups are available, depending on location and appointment availability.

Can you take apart large furniture?

We do basic disassembly when it’s needed for removal. Complicated built-in units or pieces attached to the property may need extra time or a separate assessment.

Can you take the mattress with the bedroom set?

Yes. Mattresses and box springs can be included, although separate disposal fees may apply. Include them in your photos.

Will my furniture be donated?

We redirect usable furniture when it’s practical and accepted, but donation can’t be guaranteed. Stains, damage, missing parts or pests can mean an item is declined.

Do you buy used furniture?

No. We’re a removal service and don’t purchase furniture. Sell anything valuable before your appointment.
